Drive Options

Gas / Electric Drive

All My-D Han-D Bale Elevators come standard with the electric motor / gas motor mount. They also include the motor pulley (1-3/4” Dia “A” Groove – ¾” Bore With Reducer For 5/8” Bore). The mount allows the gas engine / electric motor to operate in a level position. The mount can be quickly detatched for inside storage of the gas engine or electric motor. Holes are provided in the mount for either the gas or electric motor. The speed reduction mechanism is completely guarded. Letter A above in the electric motor photo reveals the adjustment screw. This allows proper slack to be maintained on final drive roller chain for maximum life of the chain & sprockets. Letter B reveals the chain stripper which strips the slack side of chain from sprocket.

PTO Drive

My-D Han-D Elevators are readily adapted to PTO drive. They use the standard speed reduction parts on the right side of the elevator in conjunction with the optional PTO kit which has a 1” diameter keywayed input shaft. The telescoping PTO drive shaft is not included in the kit. The belt drive from the input shaft to the intermediate shaft affords protection to elevator should any malfunction ever occur.
