TOUGH, RELIABLE AR400 STEEL
The Incisor is made from tough, abrasion-resistant AR400 steel. This grade of steel alloy is strong enough to handle the labours of tree shearing.
The G designation on our Incisor tree shear models refers to the grabber feature. Standard on the IXP models are two individually moving grabber arms and a fixed curved cradle bar that allows you to securely move the sheared limbs to your desired safe location.
Capable of cutting and clearing multiple varieties of softwoods, the robust Incisor is equally adept at tackling and taking down tough hardwood trees like oak, ash and maple.
GREASE PINS ON ALL PIVOT POINTS
The IXP Incisor model features grease pins on all pivot points, reducing the risk of equipment damage and providing long life and easy servicing.
All hydraulic hoses are sleeved for operator protection and routed internally, keeping them out of harm’s way. The connecting hoses are sleeved and wrapped in hose armour for double protection while a pivoting arm reduces slack and safeguards the hoses from pinching and strain.
HARDENED STEEL BUSHING
Spring Bushings made from high grade chrome-vanadium AISI 6150 spring steel on all main pivot points.
Our grease pins are zinc plated to prevent corrosion which will allow for smoother operation of the units joints over their lifetime.

Turn-Key Custom Solution
With this option, Baumalight would design and build the excavator adaptor for the specific excavator to ensure that the attachment is ready to go to work as soon as it arrives.
Please visit http://www.baumalight.com/suddenshipping/excavator-adaptor/ to see a complete list of available drawings and measurements. If your chosen excavator shows a part number listed, this is all that is needed to order the excavator adaptor. If the excavator is listed but no part number is shown, the drawing/measurements will need to be confirmed before excavator mount will be built.
If your chosen excavator is not listed, the following process will need to be followed:
For Pin-On and Pin-Grab Style Quick Couplers, please use the worksheet to supply the correct measurements. For Wedge Style and Cross Pin Quick Couplers, the process is a little more involved. For Cross Pin Couplers, we will need access to an attachment utilizing this Quick Coupler to create the drawing. Either, one we can access locally or having yours shipped to us for measuring. We have specialized measuring equipment to create the needed schematic. For Wedge Style Couplers, we will need access to an attachment utilizing this Quick Coupler to create the drawing. Either, one we can access locally or having yours shipped to us for measuring, or a cardboard trace of the shape of the wedge sent to us via courier. Please use the worksheet to supply us with the needed research information. After we have found or created a drawing/schematic, it will be forwarded to the dealer/distributor for end user sign-off.
