DR448 Skidsteer Industrial Tree Spade

With a spade diameter of 48 inches, it is well-suited for transplanting trees up to 6 inches in diameter for evergreen softwoods and 5 inches for hardwoods. The 5/16-inch T1 steel blade is exceptionally tough and durable, providing the strength to cut through soil and roots with minimal effort, reducing the stress on trees during relocation quick and efficiently.

For in cab convenience, the wired controller option gives you the ability to control the spading operation from the seat of your carrier. The hand held remote control can activate all digging and swigging actions using the power from your 12 volt plug. The controller comes with 20 feet of cable that can be fastened along the boom to avoid pinch points while powering the Nomad Tree Spades.

For the ultimate in convenience, the wireless controller option gives you the ability to move freely around the spading operation for the most precise insertion and extraction points available.

Get Your Fix

Tractor loaders often have more lift capacity than skidsteers and in some cases give you greater flexibility in positioning, however because positioning around the tree to be moved is so critical and ground level visibility is limited on tractor loaders we recommend that using a tree spade on a loader is a two person job. Once the frame is positioned on the ground, the controls for the spades are located on the tree spade frame, so that the operator has the best possible visibility during the spading operations.
