3.5″ chipping capacity, the BX36R PTO driven wood chipper will handle all your rural and fence line property projects. The two feed rollers are driven by two hydraulic motors dialed in to your desired roller speed. This keeps the oversized heavy duty rotor spinning and processing through all your wood and brush piles.

• The 2x hydraulic motors powering the 2x feed rollers. Wallenstein now offers a chipper within this chipping capacity that has 2x feed rollers! Most other chippers only have 1x feed roller. This is huge because the dual gripping action will consistently pull the material into the chipping chamber.  You don’t get the two sided gripping action with 1x roller.
• The wide infeed opening.  Check out Wallenstein’s wide infeed opening!! This allows material of all sizes (crooked, V branches, wide brush etc) to be put into the hopper without any trimming, saw cuts, or downsizing into smaller load sizes.  You just simply grab, throw in and let the rollers to their thing.
• Hopper height.  At 28” from the ground, it’s measures the same as our log splitters.  This is a very nice working height to get your wood material from the ground and into the hopper.  We’ve had this working height for most of our log splitters and received very positive feedback.  We made sure to do the same with our newest chipper.
• Balanced rotor.  The rotor (throughout all our chippers) is balanced precisely which guarantees a true spinning action. The consistent rotation does reduce vibration, is quieter, and will extend the life of the machine.  Not to mention, having a consistent rotor/ledger knife distance, means efficient performance and uniform chip size. There is no “wobble” with our rotors!
• The 45-degree rotor/infeed angle.  The designed angle of wood material entering into the chipping chamber results in peak performance.
• Roller Speed Control.  The hydraulic flow control dial allows the operator to regulate the speed of the rollers.  Wood brush would operate at a higher roller speed.  Wider, more dense wood pieces would operate at a lower roller speed.  A simple turn of the dial to choose your speed.
