Cant Find Or Read Your Serial #?
If your serial number plate is missing or unreadable, the conversion kit you need applies to the style of PTO you are using today.
- If you have an unguarded PTO shaft, yellow metal or black metal, and your PTO is connected to the pinion with a castle nut, you will need Conversion Kit # 20050.
- If you have an E-clip style PTO where the PTO connects to the pinion with an E-clip (horseshoe looking clip), you will need Conversion Kit # 20060.
Installation
To install these conversion kits, you will need to disassemble the gearbox. Instructions sheets are provided in the kits. Your dealer may offer installation for a fee. After the conversion has been made and the gearbox is assembled, you will need to add 3 lb. of Shell Alvania EP2 Grease (EP [extreme pressure] rated good quality gun grease) or equivalent.
