Ground Hog Augers

Ground Hog is the leading the industry to a standard auger drive with 7/8” square drive. They have been manufacturing these for over 40 years.

Augers are manufactured using high quality, heavy-gauge, welded steel construction which results in an auger that is durable and therefore profitable.

Standard (SD) Series

Standard (SD) Series augers feature hardfaced, screw-in fishtail pilots and bolt-on hardfaced blades. The wide, flat side blades on the SD Series augers are ideally suited for digging in loose or sandy soil.

SD8 Auger

8-inch auger with Standard style digging head. For loose/sandy soil conditions. Uses a screw-in fishtail center pilot and hardfaced bolt-on Standard style side blade. Comes ready to dig with one Part# 100 Fishtail Pilot and one Part# 800 side blade installed. Includes one Part# 1300 attachment pin and clip.
