Our unique agitator system is the tool for efficient deicing. Utilizing our unique agitator design, the Herd
Salt/Sand Spreaders are the most effective method of spreading any combination of sand (wet or dry) salt
or calcium chloride.
- Hydraulic motor drive, with cable controls for (1) opening & closing gate and (2) hydraulic valve for variable spread width
- Universal skid steer attaching design for easy compatibility and security
- Capacity of 1200 lbs. wet sand, or 12 cubic feet of material
- Heavy duty hopper of 10 gauge steel with powder coated finish — all welded construction
- Durable cutting edge — 3/8” x 4”
- Rugged top bar grate
