GIRAFFA S introduces the range of MASCHIO GASPARDO side shredders. The possibility of moving the equipment horizontally and vertically allows numerous operations such as shredding of vine shoots on highly inclined surfaces such as drains or hedges. The combination with the front mounted shredder allows to increase the cutting surface. Available with working widths between 1.15 and 1.55 m, it can be coupled to tractors of between 15 and 35 HP.

Parallelogram Arm

The structure with parallelogram arm allows GIRAFFA S to move hydraulically both horizontally and vertically with working angles between -65 ° and + 90 °, allowing shredding even in difficult conditions such as ditches, hedges and headers. The rear roller, adjustable in two positions, is self-cleaning and always guarantees excellent leveling and high stability.

The crown shaft of the gearbox is equipped with a free wheel while the cardan shaft is direct as standard.

Shockproof System

The floating system of the head allows you to follow the profiles of the work surfaces while preserving the structure from any damage.

The gearbox is positioned internally to protect it in vertical machining and improve the internal outreach.

Quality Shredding

The working parts are 21 ”hammers for maximum shredding capacity. The high reliability is guaranteed by the electronic balancing of the rotor and by the mechanical transmission by means of 2 toothed belts.
