Receiver Hitches
Do I Need A Receiver Hitch Extension?
For 2″ receiver mounted plows, there is a height requirement of 10″ to 13″ from the ground to the center of the 2″ receiver hitch and a depth requirement of 8.5″ or less from the front of the bumper to the hitch pin hole of the hitch. A 2″ receiver extension, or drop extension, may be needed and is available as an accessory if you do not meet these requirements.
