Overcome the challenge of dense brush and take down small trees efficiently with DropSaw, the hydraulically-driven tree saw. The DSA530 DropSaw model, a multi angle tree saw for skidsteers is power angled by a helical actuator, rotating the cutting head 180 degrees for quick and precise cutting, trimming and limbing. Featuring a high-speed circular blade with replaceable carbide teeth for improved durability, and advanced hydraulics for longer motor life, the DropSaw is an ideal tool for your rural property. Available with 180º rotating cutting the head, powered by a rotating helical actuator offers precise control for quick, clean trimming and limbing. The DSA530 comes with Baumalight’s Auxiliary Electrical Connection. This connection gives you simple quick connections and access to all the attachments functions using your machine’s own controls. The DropSaw’s durable design and quality materials combine to create a saw that is able to stand up to the demanding work of cutting limbs and trees. DropSaw’s blade is mounted on an overhung load adapter, which is designed with tapered roller bearings and built to stand up to the rigors of sawing limbs and trees. The overhung load adapter keeps the blade spinning in the toughest trimming conditions. The durable shield encloses the blade for protection, directing the chips as it easily cuts through limbs and trees. Making sure you have the best seat in the house, DropSaw was designed with maximum visibility in mind, allowing you to make cleaner and better cuts. Built for the long haul, DropSaw has multiple removable panels for easier access and servicing. DropSaw makes clean work of limbing and trimming trees safely and quickly, leaving pruned trees with a clean cut. Skidsteer DropSaw models ship with the necessary hydraulic hoses, so you can connect and go to work. All of the hydraulic hoses are routed internally where possible and sleeved for operator and hose protection, while the connecting hoses are sleeved and wrapped in hose armor for double protection. Skidsteer Dropsaws feature travelling hose supports that relieves pressure and strain on hoses. A greaseable pin on the hose support ensures longer life and better performance. DropSaw’s skidsteer plate is on a roll back angle. This gives you even more flexibility to successfully trim areas that are difficult to reach. Thanks to the DSA530’s rotating heliacal actuator, the head doesn’t rotate on a pin and doesn’t need greasing. The large push bar with integrated safety mesh is angled to help guide any falling debris away from the operator. The DropSaw’s heavy duty circular blade is designed and shaped from AR-400 steel. This abrasion resistant steel is rugged and ready for the abuse of a long service life. Heavy duty construction and a durable powder coated finish. A solid serrated steel plate up front helps guide limbs, branches and small trees safely away from the operator. For ease of entry and exit from the cab an anti-slip strip gives sure footing. All of the hydraulic hoses on the DropSaw are sleeved for operator and hose protection while the connecting hoses are sleeved and wrapped in hose armour for double protection. The hoses are then routed internally, keeping them out of harm’s way. The DropSaw also features a pivoting arm with a greaseable pin keeping the slack out of the way which protects the hoses from dangerous pinching and strain. The concave shaped carbide tip of our High Speed Teeth provide aggressive cutting action by chipping the brush bit by bit. This round tooth is 3 teeth in 1. Simply loosen the lock nut and rotate the tooth to a fresh, sharp cutting edge. This can be done three times, extending the life of each tooth. The high speed teeth design allows for easy rotation and changing of the teeth as needed. Our grease pins are zinc plated to prevent corrosion which will allow for smoother operation of the units joints over their lifetime. The DropSaw features rubber shock mounts that protect the life of the DropSaw’s motor and provides the operator with optimal comfort during operation. On most skidsteer and excavator Hydraulic systems, Hydraulic motors and pumps require a case drain line. Sometimes referred to as a third line, the case drain line will relieve any excess pressure and drain it back to your return line, then into the reservoir. Without a properly installed case drain, that extra pressure could blow a seal or damage your hydraulic line. For higher flow motors or on piston and gear motors, a case drain line is always required. Although, no matter the size of your motor, a case drain is always a good idea as it will relieve the amount of pressure on your shaft seal, helping to prolong its life. A case drain line can also increase the efficiency of your hydraulic system as it will lower the back pressure on the tank line. Since most machines have a unique style of coupler, BaumaLight does not include a coupler on our case drain line, although they are available. If your skidsteer is not equipped with a case drain, then it can be field installed. If we say having a case drain is critical and you operate without one, you will blow out your shaft seal. Be sure to check the motor sizing charts on our website. There is one exception in the need for a case drain on gear motors and that is if you excavator is equipped with a hammer valve, this is a larger free flow line back to tank. The following galleries show a highlighted case drain line on multiple skidsteer and excavator models. Unit Does Not Include Hyd Couplers – They Must Be Added To Complete Unit. The Hose Size For A DSA530 Is ¾” & The Ends Are ¾” JIC Auxiliary Connection (Included Standard) *If you have a newer skid steer with auxiliary connection, please note what model of skid steer it is going on & the pin connection. Baumalight will equip the unit with your skid steer’s specific auxiliary connection prior to shipment. This Is The Ideal Solution. The operator can easily control all functions using the controls already equipped on the carrier joysticks. This allows the operator to never remove their hands from the controls to change a function. Wired Control Box (Optional) *If your skid steer is older & does not have an auxiliary electrical connection, you must add the wired control box. Although less than ideal, for controlling the attachment is using our wired control box. The operator would use the toggle switches on the control box to control the functions required. The wired control box requires a 12V connection to supply power. Do You Have A Newer Bobcat Skid Steer With A Specific Bobcat 7-Pin Connector? -If so, you will either have to add the control box kit, the Bobcat 7-pin CANBUS plug/circuit board kit, or contact your Bobcat dealer for a 7-pin to 14-pin adapter.DSA530 Rotating Tree Saw for Skid Steer
For simple in cab control, the DSA530 is available with Baumalight’s Auxiliary Electrical Connection. This connection gives you simple quick connections and access to all the attachments functions using your machine’s own controls.
