DXD752 360° Rotating Tree Saw for Excavator
Welcome to a new spin on Baumalight’s tree saws for excavators. Easily tackle overgrown brush and small trees from any angle with the 360° rotating DXD752, Baumalight’s hydraulically-driven tree saw. Driving the 360° blade rotation is a powerful slew drive rotator. With a 52″ diameter, 1″ thick steel blade, the DXD752 tree saw quickly slices through trees up to 20″ diameter. The blade features replaceable planer style Beaver teeth. The DXD752 is ideal for high volume commercial cutting, high speed pasture clearing, right-of-way clearing, trimming limbs along fence rows, and cutting downed trees into logs. ROTATING HEAD POWERED BY SLEW DRIVE
The cutting head’s 360º rotation is powered by a slew drive gearbox. Slew drives are a compact gearbox that offer high power density.

Attack your trees from any angle. The DXD752 cutting head allows a full 360º rotation, offering precise control for quick, clean trimming and limbing.
BLADE MOUNTED ON HEAVY DUTY BEARING SUPPORT
The tree saw’s blade is mounted on an overhung load adapter, which is designed with tapered roller bearings and built to stand up to the rigors of sawing limbs and trees. The overhung load adapter keeps the blade spinning in the toughest trimming conditions.
SAW BLADE SHIELDING
The durable shield encloses the blade for protection, directing the chips as it easily cuts through limbs and trees.

REPLACEABLE BEAVER TEETH
Made from high-grade alloy steel, the Beaver style, with its straight edges, is a very durable tooth mounted on a replaceable holder. Tips can be re-sharpened right on the blade with a teeth grinder.

All DXD752 Tree Saws come with a free set of 6 replacement teeth. These replacement teeth are conveniently shipped in a robust enclosed compartment on top of the frame.
ROOT RAKE
The DXD752 is equipped with a root rake for pushing cut logs or other debris out of the way. The root rake uses replaceable bucket-style scrapper teeth.
What Is A Case Drain Line ?
On most skidsteer and excavator Hydraulic systems, Hydraulic motors and pumps require a case drain line. Sometimes referred to as a third line, the case drain line will relieve any excess pressure and drain it back to your return line, then into the reservoir. Without a properly installed case drain, that extra pressure could blow a seal or damage your hydraulic line. For higher flow motors or on piston and gear motors, a case drain line is always required. Although, no matter the size of your motor, a case drain is always a good idea as it will relieve the amount of pressure on your shaft seal, helping to prolong its life. A case drain line can also increase the efficiency of your hydraulic system as it will lower the back pressure on the tank line.
Since most machines have a unique style of coupler, BaumaLight does not include a coupler on our case drain line, although they are available. If your skidsteer is not equipped with a case drain, then it can be field installed.
How Important Is A Case Drain Line ?
If we say having a case drain is critical and you operate without one, you will blow out your shaft seal. Be sure to check the motor sizing charts on our website.
Exception If You Have A Hammer Valve
There is one exception in the need for a case drain on gear motors and that is if you excavator is equipped with a hammer valve, this is a larger free flow line back to tank.
