WR Series Electric Motor Drive

The electric motor is available for all models. The motor mounts firmly to the gear box and auger tube, keeping it in place and preventing damage. A double or triple belt drive (depending on model), provides better traction. Positive belt tension can be achieved by using the threaded adjustment, ensuring the auger is performing at maximum capacity.

Westfield Auger Calculators

Auger Length 

Formula for calculating the length of auger required to fill a bin:

STEP #1: Determine distance (H) from ground to eave of bin.

STEP #2: Add distance from Step #1 to 1/2 of bin diameter (D).

STEP #3: Multiply total figure from step 2 by 1.4.

STEP #4: The figure determined in Step 3 is the exact length of auger needed. Use the next longer length of Westfield Auger
